Terms of use

Last updated November 2, 2026

In short

This website describes our work and how to reach us. Nothing on it is advice for your company. Every engagement starts with its own written agreement, and that agreement, not this page, governs our work together.

Who we are

This website is run by One Three Nine (“we”, “us”), an AI advisory firm based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What the site is for

The site describes our services, our founders and our own work, and lets you contact us. It’s intended for business readers. You shouldn’t use it if you’re under 18.

No advice

Case studies, articles and everything else on this site describe our own experience and general views. They are not advice for your company, and they aren’t a substitute for advice from someone who knows your situation. Results described in case studies come from our own company, with their context. They are not a promise of what you would achieve.

Engagements are separate

Sending us a message or booking a call doesn’t create a client relationship or any obligation on either side. Every engagement starts with a written agreement that sets out its scope, team, fee and terms. If anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.

Confidentiality

We treat anything you share through the contact form or by email as confidential, even before an engagement starts. If you’d like a mutual NDA before sharing anything sensitive, ask, and we’ll sign yours.

Our content

The text, graphics, design and logo on this site belong to One Three Nine or the people who licensed them to us. You can quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please ask before reusing anything else, including our articles in full.

Names and logos

The company and university logos on this site show where our founders have worked and studied. They don’t mean those organizations are our clients or endorse us. Case studies describe our own company unless we say otherwise, and we only name a client with their written permission.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them will be handled by the courts of Ontario in Toronto.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
